Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will be a curious and proactive individual who is eager to explore new technologies and methodologies. They will be responsible for building reusable components, facilitating onboarding, ensuring platform security, and championing change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop reusable components and modules that will serve as the foundation for other applications.
  • Simplify the onboarding process for new applications by automating tasks and ensuring a smooth integration experience.
  • Ensure the security of our systems and data by implementing best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of our platform, ensuring scalability and lowering the entry threshold for new developers.
  • Propose changes and enhancements to drive collective growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with database systems (relational or NoSQL).
  • Understanding of network protocols.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms (especially OAuth2).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and principles.
  • Proficiency in Linux command line operations.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control.
  • Experience with Docker containerization.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of high-quality code principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, hexagonal architecture).
  • Experience with O/R mapping frameworks.
  • Experience with basic shell scripting (e.g. bash).
