At HSBC Service Delivery, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Cryptography Expert Lead to join our Global Defense Engineering team.

This exciting opportunity will involve setting the strategy for safe cloud cryptography practices, consulting on secure cloud-based solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud cryptography strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address cloud security risks and ensure effective cryptography solutions.
  • Manage key management requirements and ensure seamless integration of cloud cryptography with broader technical controls.
  • Analyze current cloud deployments and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Integrate cloud cryptography requirements into broader cryptography technical controls.
  • Manage relationships with cloud service providers and drive roadmap development for cloud cryptography solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders on cloud cryptography strategies and roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in information security, with a focus on cryptographic services.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cryptography solutions in a large organization, preferably within the financial sector or aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience with HSMs, cloud implementation, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, algorithms, and protocols.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and integration with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to cryptography.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
