**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Katowice. As a key member of the Accounting area, you will supervise key accounting activities, prepare periodic tax returns, and maintain financial data.

Main Activities:

  • Verification and control of accounts receivables and liabilities balances.
  • Fiscal and legal advice on transportation accounting, document management, and payments.
  • Preparation of general ledger entries and financial data.
  • Updating and maintenance of general ledger chart of accounts.
  • Maintenance of bad debt provision records and actual bad debt records.
  • Preparation of tax returns in accordance with Polish GAAP.
  • Preparation of reports to the Central Statistical Office and the National Bank of Poland, banks, and Group companies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a university degree in accounting or finance, at least 3 years of experience in accounting in medium-sized companies, high practical knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations, digital proficiency, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
