About You
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and experience in managing financial systems and processes. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking E2E ownership for the accuracy & correctness of the books for the country with a high-complex legal structure - Italy.
- Managing and coordinating the end-to-end process for transacting, closing, and reporting the Group accounts including control and reconciliation of the general ledger.
- Ensuring effective management of all input to financial systems and the control, verification, and processing of all financial transactions - either through the own team or the external service provider.
- Presenting & explaining movements in financial statements to National Finance Director / VP Finance/Controller in quarterly close meetings.
- Verifying accounts reconciliation performed by service provider.
- Ensuring intercompany balances at minimum level.
- Leading strategic continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model.
