The team is responsible for driving every email campaign for subscription-based SaaS products like pdfFiller, signNow, and more. They manage transactional emails, promotional campaigns, omnichannel communication, web push notifications, and mobile push notifications.
However, it's not just about sending emails; the focus lies in achieving meaningful goals. This includes reactivating inactive users, maintaining satisfaction among current users, and fostering engagement. By using data-driven approaches, the team aims to deliver personalized email campaigns that enhance user retention and engagement.
This group operates independently within the marketing team but also serves as a go-to resource for other departments seeking email expertise.
The tasks involved include:
- Configuring and executing email campaigns using our internal email service provider, including segment creation and A/B test setups.
- Designing and managing advanced audience segments to support diverse marketing initiatives.
- Building and implementing multi-step automated email workflows tailored to user behavior.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards to track and analyze campaign performance metrics.
- Overseeing and optimizing the features of our internal email system, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance usability and effectiveness.
- Generating innovative strategies and data-driven ideas to deliver relevant, personalized email content that drives engagement.
We expect candidates to possess:
- Experience working with SQL, including writing queries, aggregating data, and performing data transformations.
- Hands-on experience with email automation, including setting up and managing multichannel campaigns (email, web push, mobile push).
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email customization.
- Proficiency in creating charts and dashboards using tools like Amazon QuickSight or similar platforms.
- Understanding of A/B testing principles and the ability to analyze results and determine winners.
- Experience with setting up and optimizing email campaigns, including segmentation and automation workflows.
- Background in managing omnichannel campaigns, integrating email with other communication channels such as web push and mobile push.
- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher, essential for team collaboration, task documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Experience with Jira for project and task management is a plus.
- Familiarity with email marketing concepts and best practices is an advantage.
