Recruitment Process

Your Daily Tasks

As a Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Apply in-depth industry knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes for the Finance department
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Finance
  • Evaluate moderately complex issues using data and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
  • Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy
  • Act as a SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets

Your Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • 4-8 years of experience in finance-related roles, preferably within the financial services industry
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, instruments, and industry regulations
  • Proven ability to analyze, prioritize, and validate complex data from multiple sources
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve moderately complex issues
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising autonomy and independent judgment
  • Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for senior stakeholders and team members
  • Effective communication skills to provide insights and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Sound ethical judgment and adherence to compliance standards, policies, and regulations
  • Ability to appropriately assess and manage risk in business decisions and processes
