We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer to join our client, a renowned multinational technology company celebrated for its ubiquitous search engine and diverse online services that have seamlessly integrated into the daily lives of billions worldwide.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw or Krakow. The workstream consists of several client projects that use the Alkali technology stack. You will have the opportunity to explore and design dynamic and compelling consumer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Building web applications with a focus on the client side
  • Redesign UI's, implement new UI's with backend Java development if necessary
  • Design and build scalable framework for web applications
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Perform regular code reviews

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as Java Developer (backend)
  • Strong understanding of OOP, OOD, design patterns
  • Understanding of TDD and BDD
  • Experience with customer communication
  • Excellent knowledge of unit testing and techniques of finding sources of application issues
  • Understanding of SDLC, CI and CD practices, code review process
  • Proven analytical thinking skills and ability to solve algorithmic tasks
  • Strong competencies in data structures & software design
  • Web application development experience
  • Strong communication skills and capability of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams
