About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Quality Engineer to join our team in Katowice. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all quality requirements are met and manufacturing processes are optimized.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Industrial Quality activities in the relevant workshop, including IQ team, processes, and KPIs.
  • Stop production in case of defects that justify mandatory rework.
  • Participate in or delegate customer joint inspections and FMEA process definition.
  • Build, implement, and regularly update Quality Control Plans based on REX of previous project executions.
  • Ensure customer approval, validation of documents, and compliance of manufactured products before shipping.
  • Perform line quality animation with cross-functional teams.
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in quality engineering and quality control in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and processes, such as ISO 9001, and knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team and liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality-related software.
