Project Overview

The goal of this project is to create a modernized library website from scratch, catering to the needs of both library staff and patrons. This new platform will revolutionize the way users discover and access relevant content, resources, and services, supporting their education, research, and teaching endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement advanced search functionalities, including semantic search, to enhance discoverability and accessibility of library materials.
  • Conduct manual web application testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing.
  • Provide high-quality test reports and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and manual web application testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English language skills (B2 level or higher).
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with Excel and other productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems.
  • Willingness to continuously develop skills and knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
