Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Riverland Reply. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Working on automated test systems and strategies to improve testing efficiency.
  • Documenting test results and creating test reports to track progress.
  • Analyzing requirements and creating test cases and test plans to ensure thorough testing.
  • Monitoring compliance with quality standards in software development and metrics regarding software quality.
  • Analyzing and documenting errors to improve software quality.
  • Closely cooperating with colleagues in testing and development to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of test methods and test tools as well as agile software development processes.
  • Good technical understanding and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with test management systems and a ticket management system (preferably Jira).
  • Confident communication in English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of tools and technologies like Jira, Selenium, JMeter, Rest API testing, etc.
  • Programming language skills, like Java, and knowledge of microservices is a plus.
  • Openness to a hybrid way of working.
