Wilhelmsen is a leading maritime industry company with a rich history spanning over 160 years. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our global team as an Accounts Payable Payment Specialist.


The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for verifying supplier accounts, responding to queries, and ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadlines.

As an Accounts Payable Payment Specialist, you will be responsible for:



  • Verifying supplier accounts by reconciling supplier monthly statements
  • Responding to queries and resolving any issues during the transaction handling
  • Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadlines
  • Ensuring best practice across all accounts receivable tasks by maintaining current process documentation and taking part in process improvements
  • Executing payment on a timely manner and accurately as per KPI and in compliance with service level agreements, company policies, procedures, and controls
  • Reviewing monthly reconciliation and performing month-end tasks

Qualifications for this role include:



  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Skills in providing quality data, structuring, and organizing daily work
  • Attentive to detail and deadlines
  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable payments environment within an organization or SSC/BPO environment
  • Education related to economics, finance, or similar
