About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and workflows. Your expertise in SQL, AWS Glue, and Python will enable us to deliver high-quality digital products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate databases across different systems, ensuring seamless data transfer and minimal downtime.
  • Create data mappings with business logic for data transformation, enabling us to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Analyze and optimize existing data processing workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL scripts, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand implemented business logic, ensuring alignment between data and application layers.
  • Create technical documentation and user instructions, facilitating knowledge sharing and onboarding new team members.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and others), with experience in database migrations, data mapping, and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining ETL pipelines, leveraging AWS Glue and other AWS data services (e.g., S3, Lambda).
  • Solid Python skills, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
