We are seeking an experienced Data Science Engineering Lead to join our team at DCG. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in ML Ops and engineering to drive the success of our data-driven projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data science solutions using Azure cloud environment and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products and services that meet business requirements.
  • Leverage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of models and data assets.
  • Develop and maintain well-documented, testable, and efficient code.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to improve data consumption and model deployment processes.
  • Lead monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and incident management for ML pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ML Ops or ML engineering, with a strong track record of productionizing and scaling ML models.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Broad knowledge of Azure cloud environment and Databricks, including setup and maintenance as an ML platform.
  • Proven experience with software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and DevOps tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in version control systems (git) and building ML & data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of the data science lifecycle and how data scientists work to deliver value.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with productionizing ML tools involving user interfaces (e.g., Dash, Shiny R, Streamlit).
  • Excellent communication skills to guide audiences with varying technical knowledge through complex ML Ops topics.
  • Knowledge of KNIME and related tools.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members in areas of expertise.
