Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Specialist to join our team at Icotera Sp. z o.o. in Szczecin, Poland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing digital, analog, and RF-based circuits, as well as assisting and supporting the CAD team in schematic designs and developments.

• Develop new products and update existing ones
• Design, define, and simulate analog and digital circuits
• Design, test, and debug digital, analog, and RF-based circuits
• Assist and support CAD team or design team in schematic designs and developments
• Coordinate with software teams on designs and development of devices
• Work with software teams on device bring-up and development
• Research, evaluate, develop, and apply new processes to products and applications
• Conduct routine tests and troubleshoot problems relating to hardware

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, electronics, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
• Experience with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, soldering station
• Knowledge of issues in the field of analog, RF, and digital electronics
• The ability to fix, improve, and modify PCBs with SMD components
• The ability to diagnose and solve typical bring-up problems in electronic devices
• The ability to document work accurately
• Communicative ability to write and speak in English
• EMC testing related knowledge will be an advantage
