Cloud Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team at LetzCode. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in virtualization, containers, and cloud infrastructure. They will also have a proven track record of automating processes and improving efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include migrating products using container technology such as Kubernetes, provisioning platforms like vRealize Automation, and reverse engineering legacy architecture to identify areas for improvement.

In addition, the candidate will work closely with technical architects and operational teams to design out weaknesses and implement fully automated build/deploy/monitoring/resiliency processes.

A minimum salary of $80,000 per year is offered to the right candidate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies
• Experience with virtualization, containers, and cloud infrastructure
• Proven track record of automating processes and improving efficiency
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and one of the programming/scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Bash)
• Familiarity with container provisioning platforms such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of computer networking and virtualization
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vSphere and NSX-T
• Familiarity with service design in the context of cloud-based solutions
• Stay current with new technologies and techniques as appropriate
• Kubernetes certification is considered an asset
