About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Reporting Accountant to join our team at IG Group. As a key member of our Group Finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our internal and external financial reporting control functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end close consolidation process for the Group in line with the month end timetable.
  • Perform analytical reviews of the Group's monthly performance and position.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement in group processes, including working closely with the Finance Systems team, Financial Control (Krakow) and regional controllers to implement operational changes.
  • Prepare and review aspects of the Group's year end and half year financial statements, acting as point of contact with external auditors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to dive into the detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across a diverse and international range of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge with experience to multi-currency consolidation for IFRS.
  • Confidence to challenge the current way of working and identify areas of improvement and efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment which can be subject to regulatory and commercial changes.
