Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our tax team at CKH Group. As an ideal candidate, you will possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to learn and grow within the role.

This position involves assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial records and reports, used in the preparation of US tax returns. You will be trained by your direct supervisor in software and tax department processes and procedures, as well as receive training in tax return preparation once familiar with the accounting process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Import and code transactions from source documents/files
  • Prepare bank account reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset registers
  • Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation
  • Pass general ledger entries required for accurate financial reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Prepare US corporate and partnership tax returns
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal skills)
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel
  • At least one year of experience
  • Finance/accounting degree preferred
  • A good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with a proactive, supportive, and positive approach

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth and professional development.
