Job Title: GL Accountant with German

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to support our activities in general accounting, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures. The selected candidate will actively contribute to the financial integration of new clinics and financial transformation projects.



  • Booking of ongoing business transactions
  • Support of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting book closures
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Closely collaborate with the controlling department in the preparation of periodic financial reports
  • Work closely with the Group Accounting team
  • Adhere to AniCura Group Accounting standards
  • Monitor local market (Austria and/or Switzerland) accounting GAAPs changes
  • Build a strong work relationship with local operation teams (clinic Heads) - be the first line of support in local accounting cases/questions
  • Support financial transformation projects and the Finance Department's development


Requirements:



  • Proven experience in accounting (preferably in RtR area)
  • Experience with the accounting period closing process for the distributed data structures
  • Good knowledge of Austrian and/or Swiss accounting GAAPs
  • Fluency in German language is a must (daily communication with the German speaking stakeholders)
  • Communicative level of English (B1-B2)
  • Oracle system user skills
  • MS Office (especially Excel) user skills
  • An empathetic personality with excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, used to work in a matrix organization
  • Comfort in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with shifting demands and able to effectively prioritize between competing tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and meet short-term operational deadlines
