About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Procure to Pay Specialist to join our team in Warsaw. As a key member of our Global Business Service (GBS) organization, you will play a crucial role in building a best-in-class global Finance function that is technologically sound, future-proof, and can react quickly to ever-changing demands.
The European Business Centre will be based in Warsaw and Amsterdam, where experienced accountants and specialists will provide bookkeeping and accounting services for more than 30 European ECCO companies.
Responsibilities:- Verify supplier invoices and credit notes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and VAT rules.
- Support our suppliers and business by providing timely and high-quality financial support.
- Handle discrepancies and resolve issues related to accounts payable ledgers.
- Process and execute payments for internal and external parties.
- Close accounting periods in accordance with ECCO group closing calendar, policies, and procedures.
- Relevant experience as an Accounts Payables Accountant or Procure to Pay Specialist.
- Experience in working in an international company or SSC serving multiple countries.
- SAP experience.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Understanding of processes Procure to Pay.
- Experience with PO process and Coupa will be an asset.
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken). Any other European languages preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Excel.
- Quality and deadline-oriented.
