Senior Marketing Effectiveness Analyst with SQL Expertise

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Effectiveness Analyst with SQL expertise to join our team. As a key member of our marketing analytics team, you will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of our media mix and shaping our media investment strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Develop a full funnel measurement strategy for offline and digital media channels' effectiveness
  • Establish an incrementality framework for testable channels and plan and coordinate tests with marketing managers
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Measurement and Planning Expert to improve our media optimization strategies to achieve high-level business goals with measurement constraints
  • Identify the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for different business ROI drivers in various customer cohorts

Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including marketing analysts, marketing department heads, and external partners
  • Foster collaboration across different business areas to achieve strategic objectives
  • Host training sessions for colleagues within and outside the team on your areas of expertise for knowledge sharing

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of media investment planning
  • Foster a test-learn-improve cycle for media effectiveness measurement
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous tests to enhance future initiatives

Communication and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular reports to the CMO, Marketing Intelligence Director, marketing leads, and other relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience as a Marketing Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Measurement Specialist
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or similar
  • Very good understanding of marketing measurement, including ATL
  • Hands-on experience in incrementality measurement (geo-split tests and lift studies) either as an analyst and/or in planning
  • Good understanding of digital attribution (web and app)
  • Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases
  • Working experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, or similar
  • Know-how in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Experience in using Python for data analysis is a plus
  • Experience with media mix modeling (MMM) solutions is a plus
  • Fluent in English; any other European language is a plus
