Citi, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its Independent Compliance Risk Management Team in Warsaw. As a Senior Compliance Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing internal strategies, policies, and procedures to monitor and manage sanctions regulatory requirements.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing comparative data, preparing regional and global reports on sanctions risk assessments, and monitoring sanctions-related issues and escalations with senior management and global partners. Additionally, they will support a specialized team of ICRM officers, contribute to the design and maintenance of the Sanctions Framework, and partner with functional partners and stakeholders to identify potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data to identify sanctions risk exposure and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Prepare and present regional and global reports on sanctions risk assessments.
  • Monitor sanctions-related issues and escalate them to senior management and global partners as needed.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Sanctions Framework.
  • Partner with functional partners and stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as compliance, law, or finance.
  2. Advanced degree preferred.

Skills:
  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  4. Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  5. Familiarity with AML and sanctions regulations.
