About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Operations Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing area AP and BPO operations, leveraging AP end-to-end process knowledge to deliver operational excellence. You will continuously monitor day-to-day operations, metrics, and SLAs to ensure processes are in control and on-time and accurate payments are executed to vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage area AP and BPO operations
  • Leverage AP end-to-end process knowledge to deliver operational excellence
  • Continuously monitor day-to-day operations, metrics, and SLAs to ensure processes are in control and on-time and accurate payments are executed to vendors and suppliers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders and leadership in the area
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Sourcing, Finance, Business Transformation, and the BPO partner to ensure AP process excellence
  • Represent the AP function in internal and external reviews, meetings, and workshops
  • Active participation in ERP deployment activities to support transformation and ensure readiness of the AP process and team
  • Identify and lead projects and process improvement initiatives that will deliver value to the company
  • Serve as a back-up for Global AP Leader and other AP process leaders as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in finance, accounting, administration, or similar subject
  • Total of 8-10 years of experience, with minimum 5 years in Accounts Payable operations
  • Leading and managing a team
  • Collaborating and working with BPO / Shared Service organizations
  • AP process and operations knowledge and experience in SAP
  • End-to-end Source to Pay process understanding
  • Ability to lead and influence teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
