Job Description

GPC Global Technology Center is a leading global service organization specializing in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts. Our commitment to innovation and technology is evident in the GPC Global Technology Center in Krakow, established in 2022.

This engineering role focuses on supporting cloud transformation and execution for our unified commerce platforms. The individual should be technology-oriented and comfortable with new technologies and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code artifacts for our cloud environments
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable software engineers to work efficiently across cloud environments
  3. Support the transition of applications between platforms
  4. Review and improve existing processes, including observability, operations, and engineering system tuning
  5. Maintain production systems uptime and reliability
  6. Build and deploy new Virtual, Cloud, and/or physical IT Infrastructure
  7. Administer Production/Non-Production resources including Linux/Windows VMs
  8. Implement change control and auditing processes
  9. Maintain backups, security, and Cloud Policies across the organization
  10. Maintain Governance of resources via Policies and Monitoring setup
  11. Maintain security and network policies across the organization
  12. Collaborate with other cloud, security, and network engineers
