About the Job

Job Overview

DSV is seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer to join our Digital Enterprise Transformation department. As a Lead Developer, you will play a key role in the development of secure, scalable, and high-quality products with innate fault tolerance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide professional development guidance for 5-10 software developers
  • Bring best practices in delivery and operations to constantly improve your team's output
  • Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support)
  • Technically own new services and products
  • Develop software using Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Use Spring/Spring Boot framework, JavaScript/React frontends, Web REST APIs, and Kafka streaming
  • Work with the product owner and other senior leaders to create a great working environment
  • Partner with the product owner and architect to set the technical vision for the team

Requirements

  • Fluency in Java and Python
  • Experience with Big Data solutions, Kafka, and Complex Event processing systems
  • Production experience in Kafka in Complex Event processing systems
  • Development experience with Kafka Streams API, KSql, and custom SerDes
  • Understanding of how Kafka is built and how it functions
