Job Description

We are seeking a Global Equity Tax Expert to join our team in the Global Mobility Services Tax department. As a Global Equity Tax Expert, you will be responsible for working with clients to understand and advise on tax technical aspects of tax software implementation.

You will feed into product design and process workflow within tools, bringing a tax technical aspect to tool development. Additionally, you will manage client processes where KPMG is assisting as technical experts, gathering and producing tax/technical requirements to a high degree of specification.

Your responsibilities will also include providing demonstrations and marketing of tools to existing and prospective clients, financial management, including budgeting, raising client invoices and chasing payments, and managing scope and identifying where requests are out of scope.

You will also assist with all client queries related to our tools and be involved in business development/proposals. Furthermore, you will assist in analysis, testing and review of tax updates in our tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent problem-solving, analytical, people and organisational skills. You must have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manipulate large volumes of data.

You should be a dynamic and flexible individual who can adapt well to change, comfortable working as part of a global team, and able to show perseverance when faced with challenging situations while remaining focussed and motivated when dealing with routine tasks.

It is essential that you have confidence to question and challenge client needs, proactively follow up and manage expectations effectively, prioritise tasks where needed, and appreciate the commercial environment we are working in.

Additionally, experience in assisting with coaching and developing junior staff is desirable.
