About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Junior Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing suppliers and internal stakeholders' inquiries, preparing and executing vendor and employee payments, and reconciling B/S accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as key point of contact for managing suppliers and internal stakeholders' inquiries
  • Prepare and execute vendor and employee payments
  • Manage Travel & Expense processes, including audit of employee expenses, credit card maintenance etc.
  • Reconcile B/S accounts, monitor and report the status of accounts
  • Apply techniques and standards to improve the process
  • Prepare and maintain S2P related process documentation
  • Ensure compliance with tax and other statutory requirements of the local markets
  • Effectively collaborate with FSC India to secure E2E processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the S2P function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine
  • Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes

Requirements

  • Accounting background
  • Nice to have prior experience in finance & accounting functions in a shared services environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Very good command of German
  • Very good command of English
  • Experience with ERPs as a plus
