About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Pepco. As a key member of our internal audit function, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of independent, risk-based internal audits across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audits to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate or manage them.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to stakeholders, including the Audit and Risk Committee.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and/or auditing qualification (e.g. CIA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
