Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor - Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our Group Internal Audit team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of independent, risk-based internal audits across Pepco Group in accordance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of internal audits, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Meet customer needs by providing independent and objective assurance and consulting activity.
  • Ensure that the purpose, authority, and responsibility of the Group Internal Audit team are always followed.
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders across the Group and external partners.
  • Manage audit actions to closure with business stakeholders.
  • Follow the methodology for delivery of internal audit services and ensure methodical documentation of work plans, accountabilities, and systems.
  • Use data analytics to drive detailed insights during internal audit planning and fieldwork.
  • Help prepare Audit and Risk Committee materials and support on IT audits as required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of audit/control/finance experience gained within a multinational group or a large accounting firm.
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Capable in manipulating data to drive audit insight and efficiency using various tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Gather, analyze, and evaluate facts and prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver on internal audits with competing deadlines.
  • Professional accountancy ACCA/ACA/CIMA and/or auditing qualification (e.g., CIA) will be an additional advantage.
  • ITGC skills would be desirable.
  • Structured, critical thinker who can work independently and self-sufficiently with little hand holding.
  • Hardworking, diligent, and strong attention to detail.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to Group locations.
