Siemens Healthineers is a leading healthcare company that innovates solutions for diagnostics, therapy and personalized healthcare. We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Transformation Engineer to join our team in Poland.

About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of our data transformation processes. As a Senior Data Transformation Engineer, you will lead complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and secure data transformation workflows using advanced SQL skills and Python programming expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand complex data requirements and translate them into effective transformation workflows.
  • Write, review, and maintain high-quality SQL-based scripts to ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
  • Utilize advanced Python programming skills to automate tasks, develop reusable code components, and apply object-oriented principles to design scalable solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within data transformation processes, implementing proactive measures to enhance system reliability.
  • Lead code reviews, provide guidance, and feedback to maintain high-quality coding standards across the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data transformation processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations, implementing best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data transformation, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading data transformation projects and mentoring junior team members.
