Enterprise Architect Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect at ITDS Polska Sp. z o.o., you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical architecture of our client, a leading global financial institution. Your focus will be on designing robust solutions that meet business needs while driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and guide the architecture of products and services to meet customer needs
  • Manage the backlog of design activities and ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with Ops Engineers to resolve operational issues and address design defects
  • Convert business requirements into actionable technical specifications and influence technology direction
  • Align solutions with platform architecture, group standards, and enterprise architecture
  • Create architecture roadmaps based on business strategies and target operating models
  • Deliver comprehensive architecture and solution designs, from logical to physical infrastructure
  • Run the Technical Design Authority and ensure adherence to approved technology standards
  • Provide consultancy and leverage industry trends to drive innovation
  • Ensure compliance with governance processes for both vendor-supplied and in-house solutions
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design
  • Strong technical background in infrastructure, application design, and systems integration (including APIs)
  • Ability to translate business strategies into functional and architectural roadmaps
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and platforms such as AWS, Google GCP, Azure, Mulesoft
  • Knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, virtualization, middleware, and databases
  • Proficiency in architectural governance and best practices
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to handle complex business decisions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team and value diversity
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and PaaS/SaaS platforms
  • Fluent English
