Job Summary
This role entails managing payroll operations, including collecting and calculating payroll information, preparing accounting entries, and verifying time sheets.
The successful candidate will have 2 years of relevant work experience and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and process payroll information for employees.
- Prepare accounting entries for salaries, wages, commissions, and incentive payments.
- Verify time sheets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process standard withholdings and deductions from gross pay amounts.
- Conduct audits of paychecks, benefits adjustments, and special bonuses to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare tax payments as needed.
- Work closely with vendors to streamline employee experiences.
- Review and reconcile data entered by team members prior to payroll processing.
- Generate reports for the Payroll Manager and other teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures and regulations through month-end reporting.
- Support year-end reconciliation processes.
