Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Controls Manager to join our team at Stryker Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, revision, maintenance, and inactivation of local site procedures ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines for purchasing controls.

  1. Partner with Procurement, Site Quality, Regulatory, and Regional Supplier Quality teams on strategic initiatives and sustaining activities to support successful supplier quality controls programs.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics associated with supplier performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent years of experience. Additionally, 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain local site procedures aligned with corporate guidelines.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support supplier quality controls programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics associated with supplier performance.
