Job Description

\

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to support our laboratory team in QC projects and laboratory tests in accordance with technical requirements and input from the laboratory manager and marketing team.

\

The ideal candidate will perform quality control tests on raw materials and semi-finished products, ensuring they meet required chemical composition and properties. This involves monitoring production processes and taking corrective action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control tests on raw materials and semi-finished products.\
  • Monitor production processes and take corrective action when necessary.\
  • Record test results in the SAP system, analyze non-compliant products, and prepare reports for the Technical & Commercial Department.\
  • Update quality control procedures documents as required.\
  • Analyze and process results to improve operating procedures and have a continuous improvement in the realization of finished products.\
  • Communicate with other local QCs within the Kerakoll Group to share knowledge and best practices.\
  • Carry out sampling, maintenance, and cleaning of the laboratory and its equipment in accordance with internal procedures and European legislation.\
  • Submit purchase requisitions for maintenance services and spare parts to the Quality Control Manager for approval.\
  • Calibrate equipment according to the calibration schedule and record results.\
  • Assist in the inspection of production lines to ensure the quality of semi-finished and finished products.\
  • A degree in Materials Science Engineering or Chemistry is preferred, along with 2+ years of experience in QC or equivalent, and previous manufacturing experience considered beneficial.\
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analysis capabilities, attitude towards change, effective planning, time management, excellent teamwork, and project management skills are essential.\
  • English language proficiency (A2 or higher) and proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are also required.\
  • SAP knowledge and Minitab or similar software skills are considered advantageous.\
