We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our team at ADB Polska, a leading provider of in-room entertainment solutions. As a key contributor to our vuTyme division, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable, distributed backend solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, with experience in modern server technologies, including SQL & no-SQL databases, web-based UIs, and orchestration/deployment tools. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.

The successful candidate will work closely with our international team, collaborating across time zones to deliver high-quality solutions. We offer a competitive salary, estimated around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Job
  • Develop scalable, distributed backend solutions for over one million devices.
  • Improve our web-based management portals.
  • Work with complex data models and non-trivial relations between entities.
  • Be exposed to concurrency and consistency issues.
  • Design and implement solutions across the stack, from backend services to user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Ops, DevOps, QA, and Product Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-stack or backend developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including EKS, RDS, S3, ELB.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and containerization concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills in English.
