We are looking for a highly skilled Poland Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. As a trusted advisor you will provide strategic legal guidance to the Polish team across multiple business areas project development EPC and construction and operation of renewable assets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in primary law firms or industrial companies in the energy infrastructure or real estate industry with international exposure. Strong experience in corporate and commercial Polish law and practice is essential as well as proficiency-level Polish and English language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examining legal issues providing high-quality legal and strategic advice on day-to-day support to management and the Legal & Compliance group function;
- Providing legal support coordination for the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects including joint ventures;
- Participating and assisting in drafting reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts ensuring compliance with group policies and practices;
- Overseeing governance aspects for Polish entities of the Group including joint ventures;
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance of Polish entities and projects;
- Supporting ordinary and extraordinary corporate activities providing advice in relation to day-to-day topics IT privacy compliance labour etc.;
- Supporting and managing external advisers lawyers public notaries translators etc. in a cost-effective way;
- Managing and performing ad-hoc cross-functional projects initiated by the company supporting different members of the management team interacting with all relevant team members within the Group at the direction of the General Counsel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of previous work experience in primary law firms or industrial companies in the energy infrastructure or real estate industry with international exposure;
- Strong experience in corporate and commercial Polish law and practice familiarity with contracting schemes for energy projects will be a strong plus;
- Proficiency-level Polish and English language skills with skills in other European languages considered an important plus;
- Ability to work independently strategically advising senior management and stakeholders;
- Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneously multiple tasks strong at problem-solving proactive and critical thinking;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills discretion in treating confidential information.
