We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Greenhouse Gases Verifier/Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in verifying the accuracy of greenhouse gas emissions data from our clients.

About the Role

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from ship owners to environmental organizations, to ensure that their greenhouse gas emissions data is accurate and compliant with international regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify data quality from external clients' documents, including monitoring plans, emission reports, and fuel oil consumption reports.
  • Review technical documentation for different types of vessels.
  • Monitor and verify vessel activity.
  • Work closely with international technical departments across DNV's global approval network.
  • Collaborate with ship owners worldwide.
  • Contribute to the development of digital verification tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Engineering Bachelor's/Master's degree or engineering student in the following or similar field of study: naval architecture, mechanical engineering, nautical, environmental technologies, or data analytics.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and verbal). English is our official communication language.
  • Attention to detail and solution-orientated approach to deliver accurate and fast solutions to our customers.
Nice to Have

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Greenhouse Gases and MARPOL Annex VI knowledge.
  • Understanding of ship hydrodynamics.
  • Power plant knowledge.
  • Ship or ship systems knowledge both operational and technical.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools.
