About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architecture Manager to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Center of Expertise Cybersecurity & IT Risk, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architecture solutions for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security architecture designs for public and private cloud, networking, CI/CD, applications, operating systems, IAM, and databases
  • Design and implement cybersecurity platforms and applications to safeguard our environment
  • Set security standards and incorporate regulatory requirements into them
  • Lead the development of security controls and play a key role in systems hardening, interconnectivity management, automation, and development
  • Create a vision for how security architecture should operate to be effective for the Bank and implement this vision
  • Work with other teams to keep the Bank and its customers secure

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of IT experience, ideally within the finance sector
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience, including team motivation, development, communication of strategy, and work planning
  • At least 3 years of experience practicing security architectural design and solution architecture at enterprise-level scale
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team of senior and junior architects
  • Understanding of current IT security frameworks and standards, including ISO27001, COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Knowledge of modern security architectures for on-premise and cloud deployments
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud providers, including Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of security impact of current regulations and their finance-sector specifics
  • Hands-on experience in vendor/supplier management, including contract negotiations and enforcement of security measures
  • Understanding of principal ITIL processes and security processes
  • Fluent language skills in Polish and English (at least C1 equivalent)
