Cash Collection Specialist

Overview:

We are part of the Warsaw Accounting Operations hub, within the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, with extensive offshore support.

This team is an energetic one within MMC's new Financial Hub, which is part of the wider finance head office function. We provide accounting services to more than 30 countries within the EMEA region, across all MMC operating companies, and you will be responsible for the German market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor debt status on assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate cash allocation process.
  • Influence customers, negotiate, and build long-term business relationships.
  • Prepare ad hoc, daily, or monthly reports and forecasts for different purposes.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure that departmental goals are met.
  • Collaborate with teams responsible for other aspects of the process.

What You'll Bring:

  • University degree (preferably in finance/economics).
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Good command of English (at least C1 level).
  • Knowledge of Spanish, German, or French will be considered a strong plus but is not necessary.
  • Good knowledge of Excel will be considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of any ERP Accounting systems e.g., Oracle Financials (GL, AP, FA, AR).
