Greenhouse Gases Emissions Verifier

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in engineering to join our team as a Greenhouse Gases Emissions Verifier. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quality of data reported by our clients, ensuring that it meets the required standards.

As a Verifier, you will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Verify data quality from external clients' documents (monitoring plans, emission reports and fuel oil consumption reports),
  • Review technical documentation for different types of vessels,
  • Monitor and verify vessel activity,
  • Work closely with international technical departments across DNV's global approval network,
  • Work with international regulations,
  • Collaborate with ship owners worldwide,
  • Contribute to the development of digital verification tools.

To maximize your chances, you need:

  • Engineering student or Engineering Bachelor's/Master's degree in the following or similar field of study: naval architecture, mechanical engineering, nautical, environmental technologies, or data analytics available for full-time work,
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and verbal). English is our official communication language,
  • Attention to detail and solution-orientated approach to deliver accurate and fast solutions to our customers.

Nice to have:

  • Greenhouse Gases and MARPOL Annex VI knowledge,
  • Understanding of ship hydrodynamics,
  • Power plant knowledge,
  • Ship or ship systems knowledge both operational and technical,
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools. We provide extensive training as well if you need.
