Job Description:
This role involves developing foundational knowledge in stable financial technology Mainframe through a 3-week intensive training led by experienced Cobol developers.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will develop testable, efficient code to support diverse and complex IT solutions that meet our customer's requirements.
You will actively contribute as a team member by taking responsibility for developing and implementing IT solutions and new technologies.
Engage in scrum events to share experiences, introduce new ideas, and foster an environment that promotes professional and personal growth.
Prepare technical and procedural documentation necessary for software.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and other teams to ensure optimal solutions for incoming business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree and either be pursuing or planning to start a Master's degree this year.
- A keen interest in learning about Mainframe technology and a commitment to staying in this field after completing the Talent Program.
- Programming knowledge which will help in mastering Cobol.
