We're looking for a specialist with +3 years of experience in a customer contact environment and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. If you have an understanding of software in a Windows-based environment and mainframe applications, and you're a person who operates within designated time constraints to maintain service levels, this is the opportunity for you.

As an AR Specialist (Credit & Collections Specialist), you will perform advanced credit and collection functions such as reviewing and monitoring credit files and delinquent accounts, adapting procedures, processes, and techniques to ensure timely collection, sending follow-up letters and billing, accepting payment on accounts, and utilising appropriate software packages.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing collection activities to ensure the account is paid according to contractual payment terms.
  • Maintaining records on account activities and analysing credit files.
  • Preparing the required report, the data reported and the impact on the customer and division.
  • Performing credit analysis on existing or current customers.
  • Obtaining required information from credit organisational, banks and loan associations.
