About the role

This position is part of a global team that supports customers in adopting Google Cloud. The main responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, debugging, network administration, documentation, and coding/scripting to make Google's products more accessible.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity on Google Cloud Platform products.
  • Develop knowledge of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining root causes, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
  • Understand customer needs and advocate with cross-functional teams to find ways to improve the product and drive high-quality production.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience coding in a general-purpose language or system design, troubleshooting/advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues.
  • 4 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting using techniques such as packet capture, load testing, and traffic path analysis.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000-$180,000 per year
