Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting and support services to business users worldwide.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of SAP-based foreign trade processes in R3 and GTS.
  • Participate in regional and international projects related to SAP Global Trade Services and SAP International Trade, collaborating with internal and external partners worldwide.
  • Analyze, harmonize, and optimize processes and solutions in the context of export control and customs handling.
  • Implement requirements in export control, customs, and preference processing, along with export control and sanctions list screening in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop customizing and necessary programming specifications.
  • Support the transition from SAP GTS to the new SAP GTS Edition for HANA solution.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in IT operations and projects, preferably in the context of preference and customs processing (import, export), or export control and sanctions list verification.
  • Experience with SAP GTS or a comparable IT system.
  • Experience with the SAP modules Sales, Purchasing, or Logistics (SAP TM & EWM) is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of English, with German being an advantage.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work combined with quality awareness and analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Confident and convincing appearance, communication skills, and the ability to work in an agile team.
