Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our team responsible for developing and adapting internal tools and systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for day-to-day tools development, supporting code compilation and integration, improving build performance, and developing new features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and motivate the DevOps team to achieve their goals.
  • Conduct regular 1-1 meetings with team members to discuss their progress and provide feedback.
  • Cultivate a positive team culture that aligns with our company values and goals.
  • Cascade and escalate information to ensure seamless communication within the team.
  • Make informed employment decisions that benefit the team and the company.
  • Improve and maintain the build system, including in-house technology.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD systems to ensure efficient and reliable deployment.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate new deployment processes.
  • Establish and maintain various automation processes to streamline workflows.
  • Maintain source control branches and perform integrations with merge conflicts.
  • Provide Perforce support to the team.
  • Create and maintain documentation of the build/release process.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Manager or Lead in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in C# backend development, including ASP.NET Core and .NET 6+.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development in gaming.
  • Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of Postgres or other RDBMS.
  • Experience using source control software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to taking ownership, setting goals, and driving initiatives independently.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration, supporting colleagues, and achieving shared goals.
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, and excel under pressure.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with continuous integration concepts, centralized CI, and Perforce.
  • Experience with containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with AWS.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch/MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and security concepts.
