About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller and Performance Analyst to join our team at Valeo. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer bonuses, controlling margins, and monitoring selling and purchasing prices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer bonus accruals, update customer contracts in SAP, and verify bonus calculations before payment.
  • Control margins with a focus on material consumption.
  • Monitor and analyze the evolution of selling and purchasing prices (Inflation Balance).
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and comments on results in the above areas.
  • Actively involved in the monthly close process: prepare manual journal entry instructions for booking by the SSC accounting team, prepare required provisions.
  • Provide management information on customer and product profitability using the QLIK SENSE application (Performer).
  • Manage data in SAP to ensure accurate customer and product profitability insights for management.
  • Interact with Group and Business Group finance teams.
  • Finance business partnering with sales, marketing, and other functions.
  • Actively involved in forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
  • Support the Finance team in other areas as needed, including internal controls, management controlling, reporting, stock counts, projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience with controlling activities.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset.
