We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Katowice. The role involves supervising key accounting activities, preparing periodic tax returns, and participating in the preparation of annual financial statements.

  • Main responsibilities include verification and control of accounts receivables and liabilities balances.
  • Fiscal and legal advice on transportation accounting, document management, and payments.
  • Preparation of general ledger entries and financial data.
  • Maintenance of the general ledger chart of accounts.
  • Bad debt provision records and actual bad debt records.
  • Preparation of tax returns according to Polish GAAP.
  • Reports to the Central Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland, banks, and Group companies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • University degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting for medium-sized companies.
  • Practical knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations.
  • Digital skills.
  • A flexible and autonomous work approach.
  • Effective communication.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • English language skills (additional languages are a plus).
  • Certified Accountant qualification is an advantage.
