Job Description

As the Product Design Manager of the Customers area, you will be responsible for creating and giving support to amazing solutions that cross multiple products and features. You will lead a talented team of product designers, build a culture of design excellence, and advocate for user-centric design solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a talented team of product designers to deliver projects and maintain a balanced skill set.
  • Build a culture of design excellence and advocate for user-centric design solutions and processes.
  • Oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content designers.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable products for our users.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of MioDottore's products.
  • Identify design opportunities by connecting user insights, data, and business goals.
  • Define, craft, and evolve designs within visual systems and/or standards specific to MioDottore.
  • Profound understanding of how great design drives key business KPIs and overall business objectives.
  • Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and a broader product team to continually raise the bar for quality.
  • Cultivate a healthy design process for the team and be a key contributor to our product strategy.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in Product organizations in fast-paced environments.
  • Higher education in a design-related degree or similar experience in a product design role.
  • Growth mindset and ability to take failure and setbacks as learning opportunities.
  • Successfully worked in complex, consumer-facing international businesses, solving difficult product challenges across multiple platforms, services, and use cases.
  • Excellent hybrid lead who can merge visual and interaction design skills to create unique, high-quality design solutions.
  • Proven experience in using and contributing to a Design System.
  • Master of the tools of your trade, including Figma and FigJam.
  • Experience leading sessions with stakeholders to create alignment and present design decisions.
  • Very experienced at creating interactive prototypes.
  • Accustomed to working collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of delivering projects that users love.
  • 7+ years' of UX Design background with evidence of expertise in end-to-end design.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling midsize Product Design teams.
  • Proven understanding of business goals and product metrics to drive design and product decisions.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Solid understanding of A/B testing, including when to experiment, test setup, and interpretation of results.
  • Strong UI skills, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to create visually appealing designs.
