Winthrop Technologies is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients across Europe. With a headquarters in Dublin and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, with a proven track record of coordinating deliveries and managing storage facilities. They will also be able to effectively communicate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the compound for all available storage areas on site, ensuring efficient use of resources;
  • Booking and coordinating delivery of materials to site, working closely with subcontractors to ensure timely receipt and safe storage;
  • Attending pre-start meetings with subcontractors to discuss challenges on-site, storage space, and booking of deliveries;
  • Liaising closely with subcontractors to ensure effective traffic management of all vehicles on-site and deliveries;
  • Encouraging subcontractors to adopt a 'just in time' approach to each delivery, ensuring all deliveries are complete and congestion-free.

Requirements for the role include:

  • A 3rd level qualification in an engineering or construction-related field, or strong trades background with 3+ years' experience in a similar role;
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a logistics or supply chain management capacity;
  • Proven leadership skills and experience of managing a team, with a focus on health and safety and work ethics;
  • In-depth practical knowledge of managing loads, storage space, subcontractors, and operatives.
