About the role:

The Transport and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's transportation and logistics operations. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, maintain compliance with transportation regulations, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

What you will get to do:

  • Plan and Organize Transportation Schedules: Develop and manage transportation schedules in accordance with ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with Courier, Logistics Teams, and Customers and Partners: Communicate with courier services, carriers, and logistics teams,customers and partners to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitor and Optimize Transportation Costs: Track transportation expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives and measures.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, especially in import duties areas.
  • Resolve Issues: Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the transportation process.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of shipments, transportation costs, other logistics activities, and later in-house assignments of the goods.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with other departments, including purchasing, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of transportation activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations: Keep abreast of current transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in logistics or transportation coordination.
  • Proven experience in efficiently handling import and export duties.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Polish
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
