About the RoleAs a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will join an international team responsible for engineering activities in a cloud-native environment. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve scalability and efficiency in our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cloud costs, infrastructure, application performance, and databases to optimize resource utilization
- Implement cloud security measures and threat management strategies to ensure data protection
- Analyze logs, dashboards, and reports to identify areas for improvement
- Design and deliver solutions to enhance system availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
- Automate key metrics, including SLOs/SLAs and error budgets, to streamline operations
- Drive adoption of self-healing and resiliency patterns, such as circuit breakers and bulkheads
- Conduct performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
- Understand internal client system health and collaborate with the program team to design, implement, and deploy technologies within projects
- Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to a Scrum team as an active member
- Write high-quality documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Automate configuration validation and re-establishment to meet IT security requirements and ensure platform stability
- Conduct root cause analysis of complex issues reported by the support team
- Fluency in English and Polish
- At least 4 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure or AWS
- Strong knowledge of observability practices in Datadog
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) and Configuration as a Code (CaaC) using Terraform
- Proficiency in automating cloud operations
- Ability to integrate various PaaS and SaaS services
- High level of commitment and flexibility regarding task assignment, coupled with a willingness to tackle complex tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate and collaborate within a team
